Although candles bring memories, comfort and relaxation, it is important to remember that careful usage offers the best experience and they should never be left unattended to.

How to store your candles
- Our candles are made of natural soy wax, which are typically softer and has a lower melting point. It is therefore best to keep your candles in a cool dry place and keep it from external heat emitting sources to maintain its optimal form.
- If you're not intending to use your candle, it is best to keep it in the linen bag provided to keep the dust away from the wax as it can dull its scent and cause problems during burning.
- Condensation is a sign that the candle is not being stored properly. When this has happened, wipe it off gently with a paper towel before lighting.
- Storing candles for too long can affect and alter its scent, so remember to use your candle in a reasonable time to enjoy the most of its fragrance.
How to burn your candles
- Light your candle away from drafts or air currents as this can cause sooting, or rapid uneven burning.
- Burn candles for 1.5 - 2 hours each time until the wax melts evenly along the edges. This is to prevent 'tunneling' which is a build-up of wax along the sides of the vessel as it reduces burn time.
- If a candle flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly, extinguish the candle. Before re-lighting it, let it cool, trim the wick, and check for unwanted drafts in the room.
- Our coconut shells are natural, which means that some might be more permeable than others. If wax appears on the bottom of the candle, you can easily remove it with a warm wet towel.
- When extinguishing, it is best to use a candle snuffer to prevent hot wax from splattering when being blown. Make sure that the candle is completely out and that there is no glow coming from the wick ember.
- A candle's lifespan is completed when 1cm of wax remains at the bottom. Keep an eye on a burning candle when the wax is low.
- It is best not to move a burning candle as the surface of the vessel is hot, and the wax is liquified. Wait for it to cool before shifting its position.
